Can't get Toshiba Laptop to see 30gb HD
Toshiba 7010ct laptop. .It has a 4.3gb that the bios see and works OK but the bios does not see 30gb at all. Bios reports no hard drive and when I run disk manager it see's nothing. I Know CMS sells large hard drives for the 7010 so I know it should work. This hard drive works fine in an old 486 laptop, so I know the drive is good. Anyone know how to get this laptop to see this drive. This sounds like you need an upgrade for the BIOS. I had similar problems,
but not with your particular model. I would contact the Toshiba support for this type question, in case they may have a simple answer for your request. -- JANA _____ <lot***@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:8soa51ph3p9vchii183qsj1q86qaacvbo5@4ax.com...
