On the CPU or on the MOBO? it is set by the Mainboard but determined by the maximum FSB of both the processor and attached Memory. On Tue, 05 Apr 2005 01:11:04 +0100, Wayne Stallwood

There is not anything that needs to be considered here except that anyone can "say" anything but we don't have to spend time pondering that which is wrong. >and its FSB is said Learn about your CPU and board, what they're both spec'd to>to be only 200MHz, does that mean my MOBO and CPU are only running at >200MHz? Take anything "said" with a grain of salt, as intel in particular has created a joke of a bus speed terminology by not correcting those that claim "800MHz" for it's busses. 800 is a quad data rate term for a bus running at 4 x 200MHz clock rate. Not that it's intel's fault per se, same happens to AMD platforms too but at least they more often keep the DDR(nnn) nomenclature more often while nobody seems to use QDR(nnn) for intel platforms.
