Hi

I bought the above barebones.. it is my first Intel based PC for years and
unusually for me can't even get a screen up!. It fires up the CPU fan ok but
no HD spin up (unless I take the 80 way ribbon off..and I'm sure it the
right way round)

Specs:

Along with the box I bought  a Hitachi 80Gb ATA 100 as specified
An Intel Celeron D 2.4 533 with 256KB L2   (model 320)
512Mb DDR /400  the book says it only supports 333/266  (could this be the
problem.. I bought 400 because it is more useful if I ever moved it to
another PC.)
DVD RW

Can't get past power on. anyone had experience with this SFF system?  Help,
please.

Hi

Found the answer.. my new Celeron D is not on the list only the older
versions.. Oh well will have to sell it.. Can you still get 'older'
Celerons?
