I know you arent in the US so prices may differ greatly but in the US last time I looked the 3100 sempron and 2800 AMD 64 were pretty close in price I think 8-10 bucks difference so most go for the 2800 amd 64. Sure the 3100 is said to OC a lot but the 2800 is said to OC a bit and is a AMD 64 chip. Unless theres been a huge price drop on the 3100 recently it doesnt seem as attractive to me. Ive been speculating that with a HUGE price drop eventually I hope ---- like down to $80 for the 3100 sempron , itll make the regular socket a semprons totally unattractive and really become the barton 2500 of the sempron era - a super OCer at a dirt cheap price. You know a cheap 754 socket board around $50 + $80 3100 but last time I looked it was more like 120 or so way too expensive.
