Plextor 712 A Trouble

I have a Plextor 712 A DVDRW drive that I have been using and I
thought it was working fine.

Now I find that I can't write usable videos on a DVD+RW disk even
though I can write the same videos on the same drive on a DVD-R disk.

I downloaded Plextor's Update called Plextor Upgrade PX712_106.exe
today,  but it did not help.

I have a second machine that uses a NEC ND-2510A DVDRW drive, and I
find that I can write the same video on the same DVD+RW disk just
fine.

Therefore, it must be the Plextor.

Anyone suggest something?

Please

I would try a head cleaning kit. If this does not do it, then it has to be a
failed drive.
