Processor upgrade?

Hi all..... can anyone tell me if the Aopen AP53 motherboard will accept
a Pentium 200MHz MMX processor?

It should, but according to a doc i have it can be jumpered
to 2.5V vcore so it would probably run a K6-2, also.  It
does appear to  have linear regulators though so there might
be a limit on how fast a CPU you could choose.  P200MMX
should be ok, as would K6-2/300?  K6-2 @ 400MHz or higher
might be pushing it, though you could try a better
heatsink(s) on the regulators if you can get them off the
board safely, and/or point a small fan directly at 'em.
