My new XP 3200+ is running at 1900

Hi

I took out an XP2200 and put in a 3200+

It initilay ran at 1.1Ghz but moving a mboard jumper from 100/133  setting
to 166/200 it bumped it up to 1.9Ghz

It is running so I should be grateful.... There are BIOS settings but I
dont' understand them.. The Manual (Soltek SL-75FRN2) makes no mention at
all of setting parameter for AMD  and the AMD box has zilch to say as well.

I'm stumped as to how to get it running at it's 'prper' speed.

Help, please.

It should run at 200MHz*11   Raise the FSB to 200MHz if the board allows.

It's running at 166mhz (333). It should be running at 200mhz (400). Read
your MB manual for the process of setting this correctly.

Running very well now at its intended speed.. thanks.. Upped the FSB to 200
and wow!

Thanks for the information... The manual does not say anything about the
FSB.
