building (haven't ordered parts yet, just been researching). My question is, what is the best brands of DVD+ media? I've had good luck with KHypermedia & Memorex (& in the old days, Verbatim) in the CD-R world, but never tried the DVD+ area yet. -- -- There are 10 types of people in this world... ....those who understand binary & those who don't. The Verbatim DataLifePlus 4.7GB 8x DVD-R and original Taiyo Yuden 4.7GB 8x DVD-R work well for me in a variety of burners. Fuji products marked "Made in Japan" are almost certainly TY. I've had excellent results with Maxell, Memorex and Imation +R media.
Imation in particular 'cause they make media specifically for high-speed, (8x), burning. I've used these brands on Memorex, Samsung and Plextor burners with no issues at all. Curt.
