Maxtor 3100 USB Hard Drive not recognized in XP Pro
I purchased a 160 gig Maxtor for use with my Win98 systems in Dec 03
and since then have been using it with an XP system. In both cases no problems. Did you install the driver from the CD that came with the system? It's not necessary to install all of the Retrospect SW but perhaps the driver is.
