HD detection problems
work. I bought it from PCWorld, preformatted and the works. My problem comes when I connect to the motherboard and switch the computer on. I don't know whether it is a duff HD but I have set the jumper correctly a million and one times and can't think what the problem is. In my cmos setup I have is set to detect HDs automatically. When I start my cmputer it says "Detecting Hrad disks ... press F4 to skip". I have left it for 2 hours and it's still not been detected, just stays on that screen like it's stuck. I would appreciate any help or suggestions! the IDE cable. It makes a differance.
