Prophet 4000Xt 3D Problems
I've got a problem with a card a mate gave me. I can't seem to get any 3D from it. I'm running a P3 800mhz with 512MB RAM and a Hercules 3D Prophet 4000XT PCi 64MB card. When I run DXdiag (V.9c) and do the Direct 3D test, the screen goes all weird and I have to "escape" out of it. I'm fairly sure it's the latest drivers. 16.055. An inventory of the PC with "Belarc" shows my System model is "VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C692BX" and Main Circuit board as "Board: 693A-596B-977EF/Bus Clock: 133 megahertz/BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. 6.00 PG 11/20/2000" Any ideas appreciated. Did the 3D actually work find for him? Do you trust him if he says "yes"? Hell, can you even run any Direct3D games with it? |
