Rebooting Problems!
rebooting my computer at least 2-3 times before it works. My only conclusion to this is that my computer is overheating. I can definitely say that it feels hot, but i'm not sure what would be hot Any help would be Very Much Appreciated. Thank You, GoodyTech I have seen everything from defective boards, hard drives, and various types
of hardware faults, cause the computer to not always boot up. I have also seen software failures cause that as well. You should troubleshoot your computer before coming to any conclusions. See if you can borrow another machine or spare parts to do your testing. If not, you will have to take it to a service dealer to have this resolved. -- Jerry G. ===== "GoodyTech" <cuz1***@aol.com> wrote in message Hi my computer freezes everytime i reboot it. privacy service program asking for the administrator password. It always freezes up on the McAfee privacy service screen. Reinstalled Windows completely 3. Checked memory 4. Checked HD 5. Flash BIOS to newest version and problems continued occasionally Then I went to the BIOS and loaded default settings and it works until now without any problems PS I guess you should check your BIOS settings first ^_^ What settings in the bios could be causing this, because i am pretty sure
that the only thing i have changed in the bios, is the default setting for (Hyper Threading) from off to on On Tue, 01 Mar 2005 17:16:59 -0500, GoodyTech wrote:
