Trouble with PCI graphics card.

I'm having problems with a PCI graphics card.
I've put together a new PC with everything new apart from a PCI
graphics card.
The card is: Hightech ATI Radeon 9200SE 64MB PCI TV-Out DVI Retail Box
(link to manufacturer website:
http://www.hisdigital.com/html/home.php).

I've got a fresh installation of XP.
I get the dreaded blue screen after 5 minutes of activity.
The problem repeatedly occurs when trying to install the software and
drivers for the graphics card.
It's impossible for me to install the drivers.

Are problems with graphics cards a common symptom for blue screens?

(I have a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe, SATA hard drive, Kingston memory.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ah, sh*t. Scrub that response. Just realised you already HAVE installed XP.

What version of the drivers are you trying to install?

What, exactly, is the error message?  Have you looked into Event Viewer
to see if there are hints there?  As GFree said, examine Device Manager
carefully for device warnings and errors.  Have you installed the
mainboard/chipset drivers? How does BIOS setup look compared to what you
(or your mainboard manual) expect? Since the computer BSODs after five
minutes, regardless of trying to install the graphics card, there is
something else that needs to be cured, and more information/examination
is required.
