how to disable IRQ sharing !

Often the motherboard manual will tell you which slots share an IRQ with another slot or motherboard resource like USB/mouse/IDE controller, etc. - this may give you hints on which slots to avoid. If you use a USB mouse, often you can disable the PS/2 mouse IRQ (12), which frees it up for other use. |
