Unlikely readings of motherboard temperature
a BOXD915PCY motherboard. So I've installed the Intel Desktop utilities to monitor the CPU heat, and to my surprise the readings were as follows: CPU area: -14 deg.C, System Zone 1: 124 deg.C and System Zone 2: 125 deg.C.!?! I've installed a Zalman CPU Heatsink-fan which should be efficient but not to the point of bringing the CPU temperature bellow freezing point I think, and with these onboard temperatures my motherboard should be close to melting. Any suggestion as to why this is going on? Important! your thermal diode may be damaged. check out this url.
