What is the cheapest one you've seen? Here, they sell for only 69 euro a 14"
one (in a german mall called Lidl). They also have boomboxes for 40 euro and
refrigerators for 120 euro.

Same principle applies, specifics depend on where you are located.

Enquire at any retail outlet in your local area that deals in the item
you want. If you would be happy with a trade in unit, or display model
make sure the stores know that.

Enquiries in person is usually a good bet, its harder to say NO if you
are there, easier to throw a letter away.

If you can get the stores name in your local paper that will help as
well.

In the US your local Wal-mart is worth a try.

Forget Walmart.  Everytime you ask them why they do not reduce prices
for any reason they always give you the Walmart Propaganda that their
price are already lowest than anyone without a discount.  Yeh, like
the public believe that.
