Lost original remote, how can I replace it?This problem has been with me for almost a full year. My girlfriend has a TEAC TV Model CT-M5929STC. During burglary all portable stuff like DVD, cordless phone, VCR and ALL remotes were stolen. Her TV is ok, was too heavy. But without the remote the TV is almost unusable and here is why: 1) TEAC cannot supply a replacement 2) There are almost no front controls on the TV. 3) All so-called universal remotes that I tried have no TEAC TV codes listed. 4) Spending hours trying to locate the code by some auto- find methode didn't work either. 5) For learning remotes to work you must have the original to teach with. Please forgive the cross-postings and reply to alt.video.dvd.tech only Max. >My girlfriend has a TEAC TV Model CT-M5929STC.
