req opinions: best pocket camcorder?

I'm thinking of getting a pocket camcorder and I'd appreciate any
experiences of the good and the bad. When I say pocket I mean small, say
the size of a cigarette packet or deck of cards, you know. Some cameras
calling themselves pocket camcorders are not true pocket size IMO. I've seen
a samsung camera, a canon camera and I was even considering an aiptek but I
don't know what they're like. I'm willing to pay that extra for a
widescreen/HD model.

I have the Sanyo Xacti C6 and I'm very impressed with the quality of the
video. Small, light weight and it records in mp4 format (quicktime). HQ TV
mode will store 1:25 on a 2G sd card. Over 7hrs in HQ-Web mode (if you just
want to upload to online video sites). It also has the built-in 6mp camera
which I'm impressed with. Overall, for the cost and small size (as thick as
a deck of cards and about 2" longer) I was looking for, I couldn't ask for
more.

You might check out the very recently released Canon TX-1, which is
described as being about the size of "82 playing cards" and has widescreen
720p high definition video with a 10 to 1 zoom lens and a lot of other neat
stuff. At ~$450 it is a nice little package and the sample movies which can
be downloaded are quite impressive, all things considered. The next step up
in size but still "pocket sized" is likely to be quite a bit larger,
although the small HDV camcorders from Canon and Sony (like the Canon HV-20
and the Sony HC5) will fit (barely) into a big coat pocket.
