Using s-videoI'm new to this group. I'm interested in capturing my computer monitors images to my camcorder (Sony DCR-TRV740). I'm trying to create instructional lessons of software applications and have seen this done by other people. I'm told alls it takes is using the s-video out from my computers video card (128MB DDR NVidia GeForce FX 5200) to the s-video input on the camcorder. The specs for the camcorder say that the s- video connector is both in/out. When I attach the s-video cable and put the camcorder in camera mode, I only see the image from the lens and not from the s-video cable Is the s-video signal always present from the computer video card or do I have to turn that on somehow? Does the camcorder have to be told that the s-video signal is an input or is this automatic? Does anyone know how to make this work? Please Help, thank you JD On 6.5.2007 6:45, in article
