Sony A/V Connecting Cable for Audio Only, How?Have a Sony TRV480 camcorder that comes with an A/V connecting cable.
Single prong input to Camcorder with Yellow, Red, White RCA connectors to a VCR/TV device. I want to record video with the Camcorder but use Audio from another source, is this possible? There is no separate microphone jack only this single combined jack. Since there isn't a microphone jack, I don't think it is possible. But, he could record the video and add in different audio later in editing. Dave Show quote
