The "Multi AV" feature should allow NTSC TV here in the U.S. to work properly. The local cable company box will provide video and audio outputs, typically both analog and digital format, to connect to your TV. Different cable companies use DVI or HDMI connections for digital video, which will, in the worst case, require an inexpensive ($10) DVI to HDMI adapter. Analog cable box video output will similarly require an adapter to go to your SCART connection. Nicam is not used in the U.S., but your cable box will provide analog audio outputs which will also connect through the same adapter into the SCART port. Your TV power supply ***MUST*** be capable of working with nominal 110 volt AC 60 Hz power. You can check your owner's manual or look directly at the power supply or the rear of the TV to see if this is an issue. Hope this helps you.
