how to get DVD media code?

Yibbels

Hi,

At videohelp.com people are posting media codes with
their DVD media reviews, but nowhere can I find info on where
to find that code.

Can anyone assist me in finding it?
I looked at my DVD-Rs and they have several numbers on them,
none really as short as these media codes.

It is not visibly marked on the disc, you must read the
information from the pregroove. Lots of utilities can do this, such as
DVDInfo:
